Art Appreciation at Christmas In July

My wife and I were priviliged to have attended the Inglewood Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas in July last Saturday night along with about seventy (70) other enthusiastic supporters of the Chamber.  This is the second Christmas in July the chamber has conducted and the venue was a grain receival depot kindly donated for the night  by  local businessman Red Johnstone.  A lot of very hard work and countless hours of toil was done by members and supporters of the Chamber to get this venue tidied up. As part of the event the Chamber conducted an art exhibition which was funded by the Regional Arts Development Fund.  Pictured above is Bev McDougall and myself admiring the work of artist Faye Lavender.  My thanks to the Inglewood Chamber of Commerce for the invitation to the event and for a great night.  Thanks also to photographer and MC for the night Paul English for providing this photograph.
